David Adeyemi

David Adeyemi is a Boston-based pianist/organist and musical director with International Outreach Ministries in Jamaica Plain, MA. He plays with various groups around the Boston and Providence area, and regularly performs at weddings, upscale events and church services. David also plays at the Lincoln Seventh-Day Adventist church located in Lincoln Rhode Island. He also is an established drummer. Having grown up listening to music from his father’s native land of Nigeria, West Africa, David has no limits when it comes to music. In addition to playing Neo-Soul, R&B and Jazz, David is mostly known as one of Boston’s top gospel keyboardists. He also hopes to someday start working on music with gospel greats such as Israel Houghton, Tye Tribbett, Hillsong and Martha Munizzi.

Musicians who have influenced David include Aaron Lindsey. Mike Bereal, Alexander Asaph Ward, Tye Tribbett, and others. He started playing keyboards at age five and drums at age seven performing at church and in front of live audiences at nine. David studied with Wesley Mathis from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. After three weeks of studying, David was told that there was not much more for him to learn for he was advanced. David is currently the Musical Director for award winning gospel artist David Altenor. He also plays organ/keys for Elder Hu White and Gospel Unlimited, a Boston based ministry who has toured over seas. He currently holds endorsements with Kaces, Strukture Music Accessories, and Kurzweil Music systems. David is excited for all of the opportunities that he has received and is looking forward to the future.
